Easy Cruise - It's not all about cheap and orange!

I've recently been contemplating Easy Cruise. Many people are put off because of the no frills style airlines, but these cruise ships are certainly not frayed around the edges.

I am tempted to give an Easy Cruise cruise a go so I can give an honest review, perhaps they will be taking me on my next adventure. Until then, however, I have looked into their services on several websites and have been pleasantly surprised.

Easy as a business has always wanted to allow those of us without millions in the bank to enjoy travel, and now the cruise ships are no longer completely orange they're showing that they can still do that while offering taste, comfort and luxury.

The Old ship design:

The New (vastly improved) design:

The ships offer a range of cabins for a range of budgets. If you're looking to make the trip special without paying extortionate prices you could decide to go for one of the superior cabins which are large, tastefully decorated and come with "real" beds as apposed to bunk or fold down. They have large windows and a place to sit and relax in private. For a none too expensive cruise these rooms look very pleasant and are larger than a number of more expensive cabins on other ships.

The rooms are all very modern in design, and the wooden floors and large canvases behind the beds really bring in the eel of a luxurious cabin. While these rooms are all very nice most people opting for an easy cruise will be looking for the more basic options. There are around six different "scales" of cabins, so I've decided to show you the cheapest one to give you and idea of the spectrum.

This is the most standard cabin, not the most specious of places but when it comes to sailing this is not somewhere you will spend most of your time. The ship has so many areas for relaxing, having fun and enjoying yourself you need only come back to your cabin to sleep or change.

The Easy Cruise ships have really been designed for comfort when it comes to activities and passing time out on the decks. The dining options are all very well designed and offer plentiful options for food to keep everybody happy.

There are a number of Spa options including sauna, steam room, massage services and beauty parlors. You're going to be well and truly pampered if that's what you consider luxury treatment while you're sailing over the ocean!

There is lots of space for sunbathing and lounging with a cocktail as you skim over the sea under the sunshine. The loungers are very comfortable and cushioned with waiter service available so you don't have to stop working on your tan!

All in all, the Easy Cruise ships don't look like the most spectacular available but that's because they're not! And they're not trying to pretend they are, which is what I find so attractive about the idea. So if you're a little strapped for cash but are very keep to give a sailing holiday a go i can't see how yo could go wrong with an Easy Cruise holiday!
